Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll work closely with Financial Advisers to support the planning and delivery of compliant, client-focused advice. Responsibilities include:

Preparing suitability reports and technical documentation for advice in pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning

Conducting research and financial analysis to support tailored recommendations

Using financial planning software (such as Genovo and Intelliflo Office) for cashflow modelling and scenario analysis

Reviewing client data including income, assets, liabilities, and objectives

Ensuring all advice and reports comply with FCA regulations and internal procedures

Maintaining up-to-date client records and file notes
-
Supporting with complaint handling and other regulatory obligations

Staying informed on market developments, legislation changes, and product updates
Requirements
Qualifications
Experience and Knowledge

Strong understanding of pensions, investments, personal tax, protection, and estate planning

Demonstrable experience in a paraplanning or technical support role within financial planning

Comfortable with suitability report writing and conducting product research

Familiarity with financial services platforms (especially Intelliflo Office and/or Genovo)
Technical Skills

Ability to carry out tax calculations and analyse financial data

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook

Attention to detail and the ability to present complex information clearly
Personal Skills

Effective communicator, able to liaise with advisers and stakeholders at all levels

Benefits

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
