An established and growing financial planning firm is expanding its advisory team in Newcastle and is seeking an experienced Financial Adviser / Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) to join the business.

This employed Financial Adviser role offers the opportunity to inherit and develop an existing client bank, providing immediate recurring income and strong relationship-building potential. It is ideally suited to a growth-focused Adviser who wants autonomy, structured career progression and the ability to deliver full holistic financial planning.

This is not a “build from scratch” Adviser role. You will step into an established portfolio of clients and focus on servicing, reviewing and developing relationships while identifying new opportunities through referrals and proactive advice.

 

As a Financial Adviser / Wealth Manager, you will:

  • Deliver independent, FCA-regulated financial advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning, protection and cashflow modelling
  • Manage and develop an existing client book
  • Conduct annual reviews and ongoing servicing meetings
  • Create tailored, holistic financial plans aligned to client objectives
  • Ensure full compliance and accurate record-keeping in line with regulatory standards
  • Identify opportunities for additional planning needs and long-term growth
  • This role offers genuine ownership of the client journey from initial consultation through to implementation and ongoing review.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (DipFA, DipPFS or equivalent)
  • CAS status 
  • Experience as a Financial Adviser / Independent Financial Adviser / Wealth Manager
  • Proven track record of delivering holistic financial planning
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills
  • Experience managing Assets Under Management (AUM)
  • Comfortable operating within FCA-regulated environments
