Our client is a well-established, reputable IFA practice known for its personalised approach to financial planning. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Administrator / Junior Paraplanner to join their team.
Location & Work Type
Preston (Fully on-site)
Full-time | Permanent
37.5 hours per week (flexible across Monday to Friday)
Salary & Benefits
£27,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Responsibilities
You will play a key role in supporting financial advisers and paraplanners in delivering high-quality advice and client service. Your responsibilities will include:

Drafting and tailoring client-specific suitability reports

Preparing client files and documents ahead of meetings

Conducting fund, product, and provider research across pensions, ISAs, investments, and protection

Liaising with providers and clients to manage applications, chase pipeline business and outstanding fees

Assisting with new business processing, quotations, and general administration

Supporting paraplanners and administrators during peak times and contributing to a collaborative team culture
Requirements
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an IFA or financial planning support role
-
Strong working knowledge of pensions, investments, ISAs, and protection products
-
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently to deadlines
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Team player with a willingness to support colleagues
-
Part-qualified or committed to working towards the Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4)

Previous experience using Intelligent Office and Selectapension is desirable
