Are you a Level 4 Diploma-qualified Paraplanner looking for a genuine leadership opportunity? Do you want to move beyond report writing and play a key role in shaping a successful, client-focused IFA business?

This is your chance to step into a Lead Paraplanner role within a well-established and growing Independent Financial Advisory (IFA) firm. You’ll support and mentor fellow paraplanners, enhance technical standards, and work closely with senior advisers and compliance to deliver outstanding financial planning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a small team of paraplanners

  • Oversee the production of suitability reports across pensions, investments, tax, IHT, and protection

  • Act as a technical reference point for advisers and paraplanners

  • Review reports and ensure compliance with FCA regulations

  • Work closely with compliance to maintain and evolve advice standards

  • Streamline paraplanning processes and improve report templates

  • Participate in provider research, fund analysis, and technical updates


What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII or equivalent)

  • Proven experience in a paraplanning role within an IFA or Wealth Management firm

  • Excellent technical knowledge in pensions, investments, and tax-efficient planning

  • Strong report writing and attention to detail

  • Leadership skills or a clear desire to step into a leadership role

  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and support others
