Chartered Paraplanner, London, £65,000 - £75,000 plus 10% bonus. An independent, Corporate Chartered wealth planner in London is hiring a permanent Chartered (or near-Chartered) Paraplanner to work one-to-one with a Senior Adviser. The role covers Trusts, Inheritance Tax, Pensions and investments for high net worth clients, with lifetime cashflow modelling in Voyant, suitability letters and client reviews across a book of around 100 clients.
The postholder attends client meetings with the adviser and works in the London office two days a week (hybrid). They are supported by a Paraplanner and an Administrator and can mentor their colleague
Requirements: Chartered status or close to it, Diploma qualified as a minimum, 3+ years in independent-sector paraplanning with HNW clients, strong IHT, Trusts, CGT, income tax and DC/DB pension transfer knowledge. Voyant is preferred, Intelliflo and owner-managed business experience are advantages.
Package: £65,000 - £75,000, 10% bonus (50% individual, 50% company performance, uncapped) and full benefits.
Who it suits: a technically strong, self-starting career paraplanner or Senior Technical Consultant who wants client exposure and a long-term technical career. Who it does not suit: anyone expecting to become an adviser in the short term, but could inherit these clients long term.
