Role Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Administrator with proven St. James’s Place experience to support a Partner/Practice Manager in a well-established and growing Practice. This role requires a strong understanding of SJP processes, Admin Centre workflows, compliance requirements and case management from submission through to completion.

The successful candidate will take ownership of case progression, client file integrity and administrative efficiency, ensuring a high standard of service and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive administrative and technical support to the Partner and Practice Manager
• Prepare for client meetings and manage all post-meeting actions
• Maintain accurate and compliant client records on Salesforce CRM
• Process new business applications accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all client files meet identification and compliance standards
• Liaise with SJP Admin Centres to progress cases within required timescales
• Manage Letters of Authority and provider follow-ups
• Chase providers and third parties to ensure cases complete without unnecessary delay
• Produce templated correspondence including annual review letters, drawdown review letters and top-up letters
• Run illustrations and management reports as required
• Handle client and provider telephone queries professionally and confidently

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience working within St. James’s Place (non-negotiable)
• Strong working knowledge of SJP systems, processes and Admin Centre procedures
• Experience in financial services administration
• Understanding of FCA compliance and regulatory requirements
• Experience using Salesforce CRM
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Clear and accurate written communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Calm under pressure and able to manage competing deadlines

 

This role would suit an experienced SJP Administrator who is proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership of case progression in a remote setting.
