Paraplanner – HNW Wealth Planning
Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire · Full-time · Competitive salary up to £55,000 + benefits
This is a core paraplanning role supporting a small, independent wealth management practice that serves HNW and UHNW private clients. You'll work directly with experienced financial advisers to build complex financial plans, manage client communications, and ensure every plan reflects the depth of thinking that builds lasting client relationships.
The firm is driven by client outcomes, not sales targets. Your work will be seen and valued by clients and the team alike. This is a rare opportunity to practise wealth planning at its best—where attention to detail, integrity, and genuine client understanding shape every interaction.
What you'll do
- Produce detailed financial plans and cash-flow analysis for HNW clients, working from adviser briefs
- Manage client-facing communications—research, illustrations, follow-up reports, and plan documentation
- Support fund reviews and portfolio monitoring, identifying planning opportunities and client outcomes
- Build and maintain detailed financial records and compliance documentation
- Develop technical knowledge in pensions, tax, inheritance, and retirement planning
Who we're looking for
- Experience of paraplanning handling investments and pensions
- Strong technical foundation in pensions, investments, and tax planning
- Meticulous with detail and client communication—this role is built on precision and clarity
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, taking ownership of your workload
- Genuine interest in client outcomes and wealth planning as a discipline, not just process
- DipPFS, DipFP, or studying towards these or relevant qualifications preferred
Why join this firm
- This is a manager-owned practice—the founders and principals are present, accessible, and invested in building a great place to work. You'll experience:
- Investment in your development: time and support for professional qualifications and technical training
- A client-first culture: no sales target pressure, no rushed work—quality always comes first
- Real autonomy: you'll be trusted to own your work and contribute ideas
- HNW planning experience: every day brings complex, rewarding planning work with sophisticated clients
- Small, stable team: close working relationships, genuine collaboration, no corporate churn
- Full administration support and flexible working arrangments
