This Preston-based boutique IFA practice has built a strong reputation for providing bespoke, independent financial advice across Pensions, Investments, Protection, and Tax Planning. Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support its financial planners and play a pivotal role in client delivery.
Responsibilities

Writing compliant and personalised suitability reports across pensions, ISAs, investments, and protection

Conducting provider and fund research, using tools such as Selectapension

Preparing client files and documentation ahead of adviser meetings

Tailoring suitability letters to match individual client goals and risk profiles

Submitting new business applications and managing pipeline activity

Liaising with product providers, chasing outstanding information and fees

Supporting the admin team during peak periods to ensure smooth client service delivery
Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Paraplanner or in financial advisory support

Strong knowledge of financial services products including pensions, investments, ISAs, and protection policies

Experience writing suitability reports (essential)

Ideally part-qualified or Diploma qualified in Financial Planning (e.g. CII Level 4) – or actively working towards it

Familiarity with industry tools such as Intelligent Office and Selectapension (advantageous)

Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills

A collaborative, flexible approach with a willingness to support colleagues when needed

Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
