The Role: Paraplanner
As a key member of the operations and planning support team, you’ll work closely with a group of Financial Advisers, providing high-quality research, analysis, and suitability reports. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical, client-focused setting and takes pride in getting the detail right.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver detailed technical research across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning
- Prepare suitability reports and recommendation packs to high compliance standards
- Support cashflow modelling and scenario planning
- Maintain accurate client records using leading industry software
- Work collaboratively with advisers to fine-tune advice strategies and enhance client outcomes
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4 or above)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Paraplanning role
- Experience in a UK-based IFA or Wealth Management setting
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to compliance best practices
Desirable:
- Experience with tools such as Intelligent Office, Finametrica, or FE Analytics
- Exposure to corporate financial planning, employee benefits, or business protection
- Familiarity with cashflow modelling platforms and financial planning software
