A highly respected, Chartered Wealth Management firm based in Leicestershire is looking for an Investment Accounts Executive to join its growing Investment team. The firm manages over £1bn in client assets and serves a diverse client base including high-net-worth individuals, pension schemes (SIPP/SSAS), companies, trusts, and charities.

Salary & Benefits

£30,000 – £33,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience

Responsibilities

Account Setup and Transfers

  • Prepare client agreements and investment account applications across platforms such as Pershing, Quilter, and Aviva
  • Liaise with providers to facilitate cash and in-specie transfers
  • Ensure all account documentation complies with internal and FCA standards

Day-to-Day Portfolio Administration

  • Maintain accurate client records across systems including Intelliflo, Excel, Virtual Cabinet
  • Produce annual review packs with valuations and performance data
  • Implement investment changes in accordance with Investment Committee strategies
  • Support client meetings and complete post-meeting actions
  • Invoice clients based on agreed fee arrangements

Reporting and Technical Support

  • Calculate Money Weighted Return for portfolio reviews
  • Assist with Capital Gains Tax assessments and investment calculations
  • Provide data and documentation to Financial Planners and Paraplanners for report generation
  • Liaise with accountants, solicitors, and third-party providers

Team Collaboration and Compliance

  • Support Financial Planners, Investment Managers, and the Pensions Team with joint projects
  • Adhere to compliance and data protection policies
  • Maintain consistent and accurate record-keeping

Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a financial services administration role
  • A-levels or equivalent as a minimum educational standard
  • Understanding of investment products such as GIAs, ISAs, bonds, pensions
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel and CRM systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload within scope of authority and escalate when appropriate

Desirable

  • Experience using systems such as Intelliflo, Pershing, Quilter, Aviva, Virtual Cabinet
  • Broader knowledge of financial services and different investment wrappers
  • Working knowledge of tax considerations such as CGT in investment planning
  • CII qualifications or willingness to undertake professional study
  • 5 years+ experience in a financial services administration environment
