IFA Financial Planning Administrator | Derby | £35,000 + Benefits

We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning Administrator for a long-established, Chartered Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) practice in Derby — £35,000 FTE plus benefits, with genuine progression to a senior or management role as the team grows. Whether you're currently working as an IFA Administrator, Financial Services Administrator or Wealth Management Administrator, if you have experince and looking for a role with progression then apply today.

This is a hands-on role taking ownership of complex cases from instruction through to completion, working closely with the firm's IFAs, Paraplanner and wider administration team. You'll quickly become a point of reference for complex administration matters, with real scope to influence process and service quality, and a clear path towards a future senior or management position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex financial planning administration from instruction to completion
  • Process new business applications across pensions, investments and life assurance
  • Liaise confidently with providers, platforms, clients and advisers to resolve queries
  • Maintain accurate records and workflows on Intelliflo
  • Coordinate annual client reviews from preparation through to completion
  • Provide paraplanning and commission reconciliation cover when required

About You

  • Experience within an IFA, wealth management or financial planning environment
  • Confident handling complex financial planning and new business cases
  • Good working knowledge of pensions, investments, life assurance and Intelliflo (or similar)
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
  • Proactive, with the judgement and confidence to take ownership of complex work

Salary & Benefits

  • £35,000 FTE, pension scheme, Death in Service (3x salary)
  • 33 days' holiday FTE (inc. bank holidays)
  • Flexible hours between 7.30am–5.00pm (start at 7:30 and finiunsh at 3:30) and hybrid working after probation.
