About the Role
This is a pivotal role overseeing the day-to-day operations of the financial planning support function, ensuring the smooth delivery of client-centric, compliant, and efficient support services. You’ll be central to enabling financial planners to focus on what they do best—advising clients.
From integrating teams post-M&A to streamlining back-office systems and workflows, this position offers the scope to make a strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop paraplanning and administration team leaders
- Manage resource planning and workload allocation across teams
- Oversee M&A team integrations and process standardisation
- Drive service-level performance, KPIs, and workflow management
- Ensure FCA compliance and act as escalation point for operational queries
- Champion client service excellence and operational best practice
- Oversee CRM and back-office systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Intelligent Office)
- Liaise with product providers to enhance adviser and client outcomes
- Collaborate on strategic operational planning and reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in a financial services or wealth management setting
- In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations and financial planning operations
- Background in paraplanning or client support is highly advantageous
- Strong familiarity with tools such as Intelligent Office, EValue, Dynamic Planner, or FE Analytics
- CII or CISI qualified (e.g., Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning)
- Clear, confident communicator with a process-driven mindset
