Financial Planner – Inherit Established Client Book | Tonbridge | £70k–£95k + Bonus + LTIP

 

A fast-growing and forward-thinking wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to join its Tonbridge office. Backed by significant private equity investment, the firm provides whole-of-market, client-centric financial advice, combining cutting-edge technology with a culture rooted in collaboration, integrity, and long-term development. You will be working with a retiring adviser who is looking to hand over a client book that is currently generating circa £80Million AUM. 

With a national presence and an ambitious growth trajectory while keeping a local regional feel, the business offers a rare opportunity for advisers looking to build their careers with access to existing clients, modern infrastructure, and a strong support team.

Base Salary: up to £95,000 and the opportunity to earn circa £120,000 with bonuses 

Bonus: Revenue-linked performance bonuses and yearly pay rises

Work Type: Office-based 3–4 days per week to ensure successful client transition and the clients are used to meeting at the office.

 

Responsibilities

  • Take over and nurture an existing, well-maintained client book
  • Deliver holistic financial advice across investments, pensions, IHT planning, protection, and tax-efficient vehicles
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand life goals and deliver tailored financial planning solutions
  • Conduct regular financial reviews, staying compliant with evolving regulatory standards
  • Identify opportunities for client referrals and new business development
  • Work closely with a regional paraplanning and admin team to ensure high service delivery standards
  • You will have a dedicated Administrator to support you

 

Requirements:

  • An Experienced Financial Adviser/Financial Planner
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
  • Demonstrable success in retaining and growing a client base
  • Solid knowledge of wealth management products
  • Clear, client-friendly communication skills with an empathetic, ethical approach
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools, CRM systems, and a tech-enabled advice model
