  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, acting as their long-term trusted adviser
  • Ensure advice is fully compliant with FCA regulations and internal governance standards
  • Identify opportunities for deeper planning and referrals within the existing book
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client experience

Requirements

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum)
  • Experience managing a client book in a regulated, independent advice environment
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, tax wrappers, IHT planning, and holistic advice
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • High personal integrity, discretion, and a client-centric mindset
  • Comfortable transitioning into an existing relationship and maintaining long-term trust
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools (e.g., Voyant, CashCalc), CRMs, and compliance systems

Benefits

  • Inherit a high-value, loyal client portfolio with long-term growth potential
  • Phased handover with full support from the retiring adviser
  • Competitive base salary (£60,000–£80,000 depending on experience)
  • Bonus or revenue share scheme linked to retention and performance
  • Long-term opportunity for equity or leadership for the right candidate
  • Hybrid working with flexibility to meet client and business needs
  • Full paraplanning, admin, compliance, and investment support provided
  • Structured CPD and support toward Chartered status
  • Supportive, values-led working culture with long-term career stability
