Independent Financial Adviser – Burgess Hill (Hybrid or Remote)

Salary up to £80,000 & potential to earn over £120,000 with a strong bonus system 


Key Responsibilities

The successful Independent Financial Adviser will be responsible for delivering holistic, compliant, and client-focused financial advice. Core duties include:

  • Managing the Six-Stage Advice Process to ensure high-quality client outcomes

  • Reviewing and updating client financial plans in line with changing objectives

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional introducers

  • Leveraging the firm’s digital marketing and lead generation systems to attract new clients and build personal brand awareness

  • Conducting comprehensive reviews across pensions, investments, protection, inheritance tax (IHT), and estate planning

  • Holding meetings in person, virtually (e.g. Microsoft Teams), or at client premises

  • Preparing detailed and compliant financial planning reports, supported by in-house administration, paraplanning team. 


Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will demonstrate both technical proficiency and excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering first-class financial advice.

Essential requirements:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent qualification)

  • FCA-authorised and approved (CF30)

  • Proven experience in financial advice, client relationship management, and business development

  • Strong ethical standards and full regulatory compliance

  • Proficiency with IT systems, CRM software, and virtual meeting platforms
