Are you an experienced Independent Financial Adviser looking for the backing to build a genuinely long-term client bank, without the overheads of running your own practice?

Our client is a progressive, client-focused, financial planning-led wealth management firm with over 30 years in the industry and a nationwide network of 200+ accredited advisers. As they continue to grow, they're looking for an experienced adviser to join them in Launceston, Cornwall, as a self-employed or employed IFA.

This is a home-based/remote role with access to office locations if preferred, and an expectation to attend face-to-face client meetings.

The Role

  • Follow a structured six-stage advice process to build long-term client relationships and deliver excellent outcomes
  • Review and respond to clients' changing needs and circumstances, keeping introducers and clients informed of new products or legislative changes affecting their pensions, savings, investments and financial plans
  • Acquire and develop new business from new and existing clients and professional introducers, through personal business planning, referrals and the company's lead generation programme
  • Make full use of marketing opportunities, including social media and networking with introducers and other professionals, to develop new business
  • Build and maintain strong client and introducer relationships through meetings, seminars and ongoing feedback to the team
  • Arrange meetings with corporate and individual clients — in-office, at clients' homes or business premises, or virtually via Microsoft Teams
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future objectives, researching and preparing financial planning reports tailored to individual client needs across all advice areas
  • Deliver accurate management information as required

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or FCA-approved equivalent), and able to maintain CF30 status in line with FCA regulations
  • A clear, client-centric approach, with a well-presented and articulate manner and a genuine commitment to doing right by clients
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, approachability and professionalism, comfortable using digital tools to communicate with clients in new and virtual ways
  • A track record of attracting new clients and growing a client bank through relationships

  • Support to build your client base and future practice value
  • End-to-end, in-house client journey support — full DIS, admin and paraplanning
  • A client-centric proposition and trusted brand reputation, with a strong learning and development culture
  • An in-house investment platform for efficient, cost-effective client solutions
  • Consultative marketing support
  • Access to Lead geenraiton tools
  • Market-leading back-office and point-of-sale technology
  • Full administration support
