Ortus PSR are partnered with a highly respected national wealth management business to recruit an ambitious Growth Financial Adviser for their Chelmsford office.

This opportunity is specifically designed for a commercially driven adviser who wants to build a long-term business, grow their own client bank, and significantly increase their earnings within a firm that rewards performance.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for building and growing your own client portfolio through self-generation, networking, professional connections, referrals, and personal business development activity.

What’s on Offer

  • Basic salary between £65,000 – £80,000
  • Bonus validation at 1.2x salary

Important to Know

This is a growth-focused role and advisers will initially be expected to operate without dedicated administrative support while learning the firm’s systems and processes, including Gateway.

The Role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Generating new client relationships through proactive business development
  • Building strategic introducer relationships with solicitors, accountants, and other professionals
  • Growing recurring revenue and assets under management
  • Delivering holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning
  • Building a long-term advisory business within the firm
  • Contributing positively to office culture and team growth

Candidate Requirements

  • Diploma qualified (Level 4 minimum)
  • CAS and SPS compliant
  • Strong track record of business development and client acquisition
  • Ability to generate new revenue consistently
  • Entrepreneurial and commercially driven mindset
  • Team-oriented attitude with strong cultural fit
