Are you an experienced Financial Advisor seeking more than just a client bank? Our client, a dynamic and expanding Independent Financial Advisory firm, is offering a rare opportunity in the Derby area for a self-driven advisor to manage a high-quality portfolio — and help shape the future of the region. You will be working with a range of clients in the mass affluent and HNW market from £250K AUM, typical demographics 60+
Basic Salary: Up to £65,000 (depending on experience)
Bonus Potential: Realistic earnings of £75,000+ in year one
This is more than a servicing role. With around 160 active clients and approx. £85 million in Assets Under Management (AUM), you’ll inherit a well-maintained book of affluent, engaged individuals and families. There’s a strong emphasis on holistic financial planning, with a mix of investment, pension, tax, and estate planning needs.

Your Role
- Provide holistic financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning
- Manage and develop long-standing client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and ongoing suitability reviews
- Collaborate with paraplanners and support staff to deliver efficient and compliant advice
- Contribute to business development initiatives, referrals, and cross-team collaboration
- Take a proactive role in regional development — with potential to lead a team as the Derby office grows
What We’re Looking For
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum)
- Experience managing a client bank with significant AUM
- A strong communicator with a relationship-led advice approach
