An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to take over a well-established client portfolio from a retiring adviser. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with a genuine commitment to client care and is motivated to grow a book of business organically through high-quality, goal-based financial planning.

Salary up to £80,000 + Bonus Quarterly

 

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will inherit a warm and engaged client bank, with the expectation to maintain strong relationships, deliver exceptional ongoing advice, and identify new opportunities through referrals and upscaling. The role sits within a collaborative and supportive team structure, with paraplanning and operations support to ensure efficiency and compliance at every stage of the advice process.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compliant, holistic financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning
  • Conduct regular reviews and maintain strong, proactive client relationships
  • Ensure advice and documentation meet FCA standards and internal compliance requirements
  • Identify and act on opportunities to grow the portfolio through service enhancement and referrals

Candidate Profile

  • Level 4 Financial Advice Qualification (e.g., Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning) – essential
  • Experience providing regulated financial advice
  • Deep understanding of pensions, investments, protection, and personal taxation
  • Proven ability to build trust, retain clients, and deliver consistent outcomes
  • Motivated, personable, and passionate about helping clients achieve financial wellbeing
