IFA Administrator - Leicester, East Midlands

Salary up to £42,500

Business Systems Analyst

Leicester, Leicestershire  |  Hybrid after training  |  £37,500 - £42,500 DOE + Discretionary Bonus + Benefits

Why This Role Stands Out

Our client is a long-established, Chartered financial planning firm managing over £1.1 billion in client assets for high-net-worth families. They've just been named one of the best financial advisers to work for in the UK for the fourth time running - an award decided largely by staff feedback. It's a business built on trust and ownership, with genuine progression (including future equity potential) and real investment in people's development.

The Opportunity

You'll become the go-to expert for the firm's core business systems - Intelliflo, Omniphi, Virtual Cabinet, Moneyinfo, Sage, Adobe and Microsoft 365 - with real scope to shape how the business works, not just keep the lights on.

  • Breadth, not box-ticking. Support, project delivery, training and improvement work in one varied remit - ideal grounding for a career in business systems or business analysis.
  • Visible influence. You'll work directly with the Head of Operations, and your recommendations will actually get heard and acted on.
  • Regulated-sector exposure. Genuine experience of systems and data governance within an FCA-regulated environment - a strong, transferable credential.

What You'll Get

  • Salary £37,500 - £42,500 DOE, plus discretionary annual bonus
  • 4x salary life assurance and pension (5% employer, rising with service, salary sacrifice available)
  • 24 days' holiday (rising with service) plus bank holidays, and a Health Cash Plan
  • Free on-site parking and hybrid working once initial training is complete
  • Genuine support for professional development and further qualifications

What You'll Be Doing

  • Acting as subject matter expert and second-line support for the firm's core business applications
  • Managing system configuration, user access and troubleshooting workflow/data issues
  • Supporting Microsoft 365 and working with the external IT provider on wider infrastructure
  • Identifying system improvements and supporting delivery of projects, from requirements through to UAT
  • Developing training materials and driving user adoption of new tools and processes

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting and administering business systems and applications, including Microsoft 365
  • Experience working with third-party software providers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder management

Desirable: FCA-regulated business experience, Intelliflo/Moneyinfo exposure, a relevant IT/Business Systems/Business Analysis qualification, or process mapping and training/user adoption experience.
