We are seeking an experienced and capable Senior Manager who is an expert in Pensions and Investments to join our dynamic Wealth Management company. As a key member of the Senior team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day administration of client accounts, managing a team of professionals, and addressing complex issues that may arise.

 

The role of Head of Investments and Pensions attracts a salary up to £80,000 and would be based in Henley On Thames.

 

The company are growing from Strength to Strength and have offices across the UK servicing small cities and local towns. The CEO is currently looking to expand the business through acquisition and is looking to keep the family ran company private long term.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Oversee and manage the Team, ensuring the efficient and consistent administration service to scheme members.

Coordinate and plan workloads for the Team, providing support and guidance to junior members.

Resolve complex issues escalated from the team and provide technical expertise in delivering ad-hoc client requests.

Manage the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.

Liaise with clients, internal advisers, and third-party companies, maintaining positive communication and working relationships.

Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks, including all reporting to HMRC.

Support the development and maintenance of effective systems and processes within the organization.

Monitor changes in legislation relevant to the SIPP and ensure ongoing regulatory

 

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

 

Relevant qualification such as CII FA2 – Pensions Administration module.

Sound understanding of SIPPs and HMRC rules.

Thorough understanding of internal procedures within the department and organization.

Certification role under the FCA Senior Manager Certification Regime (SMCR).

Ability to process data efficiently and accurately.

Excellent organizational and IT skills.

Good working knowledge of Intelliflo, Volume, and Imago databases.

Experience within the Pensions Industry, especially with Money Purchase and SIPPs.
