We are representing a client seeking an experienced individual with a talent for team management to join their dynamic team. The firm comprises seven dedicated professionals, including five paraplanners, one Paraplanning Manager, and one Technical Manager, all committed to delivering excellence in financial planning. Both incumbent Managers hold Chartered status, reflecting the company's commitment to expertise and quality.

 

Role Overview:

The client is seeking a Paraplanner Manager to play a pivotal role in their team's success. They are looking for someone with a background in paraplanning, compliance, technical, or T&C roles, who is passionate about fostering team efficiency and productivity. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape processes, systems, and overall approach, contributing significantly to continued success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of paraplanners, ensuring smooth operation of paraplanning services.
  • Oversee the efficiency and productivity of the entire team's output, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with management to refine and improve existing systems, processes, and workflows.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering professional development and growth.
  • Act as a key point of contact for advisors and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and efficient collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in paraplanning or related roles, with some element of people/team management.
  • Background in compliance, technical, or T&C roles preferred.
  • Commitment to a career in paraplanning, with a focus on team leadership and development.
  • Level 4 qualification or progression towards it.
  • Familiarity with industry platforms such as Xplan (Iress), Aviva, Fidelity, Quilter, and Transact.
  • Experience with systems like O&M Profiler, FE Analytics, and risk profiling tools.

Location:

The office is based in Ashford with the option for a blend of office-based and remote work. Most staff work three days in the office and two days from home.
