The Role:
As a Paraplanner, you'll work closely with Financial Planners to discuss client objectives, identify suitable solutions, and compile comprehensive financial reports. Your role will be crucial in ensuring efficient, high-quality, and compliant services for their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Financial Planners to gather necessary information for financial suitability reports.
- Assist in identifying planning areas and sourcing solutions to meet client needs, including tax calculations.
- Ensure all client information collected adheres to 'know your client' principles and company policies.
- Prepare suitability reports and recommendations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Conduct fund research and analysis using tools like FE Analytics to support Financial Planner recommendations.
- Maintain updated suitability report templates and due diligence research on funds, providers, and platforms.
- Prepare monthly cumulative return tables and effectively communicate them to Financial Planners and Team Leaders.
