We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Advice to lead a dedicated team and drive business growth within a prominent financial services firm. This role involves developing and servicing new and existing income sources, providing compliant advice to customers, and managing a team of advisers. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to compliance, client satisfaction, and team development.

Our client is looking to bring on an experienced player-manager who can bring a client following with them and in return, you will be rewarded with a market leading compensation package including equity options in the business. 

The salary range for head of advice is £90,000 - £120,000

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and service new and existing income sources.
  • Obtain new business from existing clients where applicable.
  • Demonstrate principles of Treating Customers Fairly in all customer dealings.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA rules and company procedures.
  • Prospect for new clients and obtain necessary client information.
  • Offer a range of appropriate advice and communicate recommendations clearly to customers.
  • Create and maintain compliant client files with proper documentation.
  • Complete Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities and maintain training records.
  • Meet or exceed targets for business volume and quality.
  • Submit Fit & Proper checking documentation annually.
  • Train and develop trainee advisers to competent status.
  • Manage and support Appointed Representatives.
  • Assist in integrating new company acquisitions successfully.
  • Fulfil senior management responsibilities and duties.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience in financial advising and client management.
  • Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a large team.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and business goals.
