Location: 3days working from home and 2 days in either of the following locations: Bracknell, Liverpool or Lincoln 

My client, a dedicated, Holistic provider of financial planning and investment strategies aimed at improving the financial wellbeing of their valued clients is looking for a fantastic, experienced Paraplanner to join their team and hit the ground running, in this fast paced, dynamic environment, 

As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in our mission by providing essential support through research, report writing, quotations, and the preparation of suitability reports for the financial advisers you'll assist. We are seeking experienced Paraplanners with a minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience in an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional technical knowledge across all aspects of financial planning, stay abreast of current market trends, and have a deep understanding of industry regulations. Your proactive attitude will be essential in this fast-paced and dynamic environment.

General Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare suitability reports and letters within specified deadlines.
  • Ensure all client work complies with relevant regulatory standards and is supported by appropriate documentation.
  • Conduct comparative research to prepare client recommendations.
  • Complete technical research as part of the existing arrangement review process.
  • Perform tax planning analysis.
  • Produce and analyze cashflow modeling.
  • Understand clients' overall financial positions from IFA fact-finding sessions.
  • Collaborate with relevant IFAs to identify and obtain necessary client information for suitability checks.
  • Investigate and provide accurate responses to client queries.
  • Conduct annual reviews in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and relevant FCA rules at all times.
  • Adhere to relevant compliance, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), Training and Competence (T&C), and financial crime (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud, and corruption) procedures.
  • Stay updated with all relevant product, legislative, and technical changes.
  • Attain and maintain the required level of competence.
  • Maintain all performance standards as required by [Client's Name].
  • Ensure relevant Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is maintained and accurately recorded.
