A  full service practice with a number of regional offices across the South West is expanding. They are looking to grow their support team and hire a Financial Planning Administrator to join on a permanent in their Exeter office.

36.25 hours / 5 days per week (Flexible hours working is available including a combination of working from home and in the office)

25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Death in service 3 x annual salary, Access to Rewards and Health scheme, Buy and sell holiday and Pension 3% rising to 4% after 4 years’ service

Main Duties

Support Financial Planners to meet business targets

Act as day-to-day point of contact for client service to resolve administrative issues

Help Financial Planners prepare for meetings

Process new business and track to completion

Write letters to clients and providers as appropriate

Compilation of suitability letters and other client/product provider correspondence

Provide a high level of service to clients, including regular valuations

To be considered:

Good telephone manner & confident in dealing with clients maintaining a professional attitude at all times.

Familiarity with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Previous experience of working in financial services administration (either in an IFA practice, a product provider, investments, insurance or banking)

Good working knowledge of pensions and/or pension administration.

Knowledge of FSA compliance procedures, research and analysis skills re: financial advice.

Project management and Investment research experience

Educated to A level or equivalent with GCSE passes of C or above in English Language and Maths.
